All the office closed no one der to answer questions. Interestingly, this place’s rating increased from 2.0 to 3.2 in just one day, after management asked employees to leave a 5-star review. It’s not fair for the patients when ask the employees to leave reviews and they remove the patient.and visitor review.

Management team is very empathetic. Residents are always looking forward to Therapy and Activities. The staff is great, the Executive Adminstrator, DON, ADON, DOR, and the rest of the management team are always so pleasant with th residents, staff and families.

I can’t say enough good things about Westwood Post Acute. The staff consistently go above and beyond to provide top-notch care and genuinely treat residents with dignity and compassion. Communication with families is excellent. Annika and Shae in Social Services and Deb the Director of Nursing always keeps families informed about changes, progress, and ways to support their loved one. The building is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. There’s always meaningful activities, therapy, and engagement happening, and you can tell residents feel respected and cared for. The leadership team sets high standards, and it shows in the day-to-day interactions from nursing to housekeeping to dietary. It’s never an easy decision to place a loved one in long-term care, but knowing they are in an environment where they are safe, supported, brings peace of mind to families and their loved one. The consistency in the leadership team as well as all of the positive changes that have happened in the last year also speaks volumes to the dedication each and every employee has for the best interest in the residents. Truly exceptional care — highly recommend.

I have been to Westwood Post Acute a few times, I can’t recommend this place enough! They have great quality care and the staff is very warm and inviting.

When coming to Westwood you are always greeted by staff no matter the position. Their executive director John makes sure to go above and beyond for his employees and residents to address any complaints in a timely manner. But not just John, he leads a great team of employees who follow in the same steps and beliefs of nursing home care to ensure that the residents are provided the best care and activities (that are fit for all disabilities) The maintenance is responsive and as fast as they can be, and the food is delicious. The CNAs make sure all needs are met and not a single patient goes without no matter the request. The therapy team is dedicated to building rapport as much as they are to provide physical improvements to these residents, it just adds a touch of comfort to know the residents and loved ones feel heard and seen when planning their next steps whether it’s to go home to improve quality of life. It truly is a sight to see the team in action and to be able to witness the smile on the residents faces.

The team at Westwood are amazing. You can feel a home like environment with friendly staff, residents hanging out, fun activities always happening. A fresh paint job and beautiful Colorado scenery makes it cozy, vibrant and festive through out the hallways. Families are always invited to join in on events and holidays we throw on. What an amazing place.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This place currently lacks a designated nurse head or director to communicate with and. It seems that only nurses and nurse aides work here. the residents seem to be in a bad environment. After many years in there I moved my sister to a new facility, and she is much happier now. Additionally, the facility has an bad smell for a year when you walk in.

I just moved in, but so far this place is great for the price point. Staff is all really nice, the food is actually really good, there are activities, an outdoor space. The rooms are pretty open and have enough room for 2 people. I’m super impressed by Westwood so far. Will update if things change. Edit: been here 6 months and they’ve made incredible changes, fixing the curb in the front to be more accessible, good food still, the activities department is amazing we do boccia ball, bingo, bowling in the dining room, arts and crafts and outings for shopping and eating at restaurants, the PT and OT department has made big changes, there’s a new director who has brought in a team of PTAs and Occupational therapists who actually knows what they’re doing, have helped me so much the past few months, I can walk more, have been able to stand up and do tasks that I never thought it would be able to do again. The nursing home is a busy place, there’s almost 70 residents many of which are extremely high needs and sometimes the CNAs get busy but I’ve never felt ignored, and they try so hard to take care of us.

Team at Westwood really is something special! Administrator Jon knows how to assemble a top tier team. From all the nursing staff & CNAs who have been there for years. Deb their DON ready to jump in to help! And social service; Annika & Shae always going above and beyond for every patient!
